When we sat down to review our Debt Shredder analysis, my husband and I were shocked to see that our total debt was over a million dollars! We own two rental properties and a primary residence, which we just bought in the Spring of 2016. We were used to thinking about the mortgage for each "roof" and the monthly income associated with it, but seeing our debt portfolio tallied as a whole was a bit of a wake-up call for us. We got started right away, and now that we are a few months in, I'm happy to report that we've already saved several thousand dollars!
